Best best for college football in Week 6. Coming off a 4-0 week and 14-5-1 on the season.
Finished 4-0 last week and improved to 14-5-1 with best bets on the season. I’m now 11-3-1 picking game against the spread and 3-2 with over/under point totals.

Iowa was my first pick of the last week. The Hawkeyes didn’t need the seven-point spread as they upset Wisconsin straight up and made a statement in the Big Ten West. Arkansas (+6.5) gave up a touchdown on the opening kickoff and trailed 14-0 before storming back to beat Tennessee 24-20.
The under didn’t look good on Florida/Ole Miss when the Gators scored two early touchdowns. However, Ole Miss helped me out by going on a 19-play drive that ate 9:35 of the clock in the beginning of the third quarter. Thank you Hugh Freeze for settling for a field goal down 25-0. Oregon (-7.5) didn’t look good but they proved to be too much for Colorado in the final game of Week 5.
This week I have only four games again. Part of the reason for my early success is being very selective with the games I pick. Taking the games you are most confident in is better than forcing a pick on a game. Just because a team is ranked in the top 25 or the game is on primetime TV doesn’t mean you have to pick the game. There are around 50 college football games each week so looking at the lesser game could find the best value.
Here are my best bets for Week 6, which includes two possible upsets in the ACC and a under pick in a Big 12 game.
