Predicting the AP Top 25 poll for Week 7.

Last week saw four teams ranked in the top eight lose as the AP Top 25 poll had a radical makeover, but this week’s top 25 won’t have as many teams sliding down due to a loss.

More from Alabama Crimson Tide

No. 10 Oklahoma did suffer a stunning upset at the hands of their bitter rival as the Texas Longhorns got a much-needed win in the Red River Rivalry as Charlie Strong got his biggest win as the team’s head coach. Oklahoma will tumble and so will previously undefeated Northwestern after the No. 13 Wildcats were dominated by the Michigan Wolverines.

Conversely, Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines are due for a significant rise in the rankings after they continue to put tape out that they’re better than anyone would have imagined, including the most optimistic Michigan fans.

Meanwhile their next opponent, Michigan State, is expected to slide after another narrow win. Last week, they slide after a three-point win over Purdue and this week they needed a last-minute rally to beat Rutgers.

Here’s how I predict the AP Top 25 Poll will look for Week 7:

1. Ohio State

2. TCU

3. Baylor

4. Utah (Provided they hold 24-10 halftime lead over Cal)

5. LSU

6. Clemson

7. Texas A&M

8. Alabama

9. Florida State

10. Florida

11. Michigan State

12. Ole Miss

13. Michigan

14. Notre Dame

15. Stanford

16. Oklahoma State

17. Oklahoma

18. Iowa

19. Northwestern

20. UCLA

21. Toledo

22. Boise State

23. Houston

24. Memphis

25. Temple
