No. 16 Oklahoma State Cowboys

First game they will lose: TCU Horned Frogs, Nov. 7

The Cowboys are a solid team, but they aren’t anywhere near the class of TCU or Baylor yet. In three Big 12 games this season, the Cowboys have given up 27, 34 and 26 points. They won’t be able to score enough to keep up with TCU, and their defense is nowhere near ready to stop them.

The big factor in a game of this magnitude for the Cowboys will be turnovers, where the Cowboys are a plus-4, and the Horned Frogs sit at a plus-2. If the Cowboys can keep the turnover battle in their favor during this game, they stand a chance of the upset.

Outside of that, Oklahoma State will see their first lost come to TCU, and then probably another two weeks later when the welcome the Baylor Bears to Stillwater. The Big 12 needs a championship game, and that fact will end up hurting the Cowboys this year.
