As the division races tighten and undefeated seasons hang in the balance, we predict every SEC game against the spread for Week 7.

It’s already been a crazy week in the SEC, and we haven’t even gotten to the games yet.

News broke Monday that Florida quarterback Will Grier – who had helped lead the Gators to a surprising 6-0 start to the season and a commanding two-game lead in the SEC East – was suspended for a calendar year due to a positive test for performance enhancing drugs.

Later that evening, Steve Spurrier’s decision to step down at South Carolina came to light, and was made official the following day. We also learned that Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil will be back in action Oct. 24 after sitting out the first seven games of the season.

All that news, as well as an action-packed schedule of premium Week 7 matchups, makes it difficult to even remember what happened on the field last week – especially since we treaded water with a 3-3 record against the spread in what was a largely forgettable week of action.

  • 2015 Straight Up: 36-13 (.745)
  • 2015 Against the Spread: 30-19 (.612)
  • 2015 Over/Under: 30-19 (.612)
  • Last Week Straight Up: 5-1 (.833)
  • Last Week Against the Spread: 3-3 (.500)
  • Last Week Over/Under: 4-2 (.667)

This week’s slate should be much more memorable. The actions start early with a Thursday night matchup between Auburn and Kentucky in Lexington. Then, Ole Miss and Mississippi State kick off Saturday’s slate by playing non-conference games for the second week in a row and four huge SEC games follow.

The headliners are the Alabama-Texas A&M clash in College Station and a matchup of undefeated LSU and Florida squads in Death Valley, but South Carolina and Vanderbilt square off to avoid the cellar in the SEC East while Georgia and Missouri meet in Athens both hoping to stay alive in the division race.

Who will win, and by how much? We predict every SEC football game against the spread for Week 7.
