Alabama RB Derrick Henry 55-yard TD extends TD streak to 12 games (Video)
Derrick Henry extender his streak with a rushing touchdown to 12 and the Alabama Crimson Tide running back did so in style.
For the 12th game in a row, Alabama running back Derrick Henry scored a rushing touchdown and he didn’t waste much time as he raced 55 yards to the house midway through the first quarter against the Texas A&M Aggies.
Henry already has 115 yards on his first seven carries of the game as Alabama has a 14-0 lead early in their SEC showdown against the Aggies from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
If Texas A&M is going to come back and win this game against Alabama, they’re going to have to find a way to slow down Henry, which is easier said than done, considering few teams have managed to do that since he’s been the featured ball carrier for the Tide.
But what could slow down Henry is some cramping or an injury. On the ensuing possession, Henry was seen on the sideline getting some attention from the training staff and CBS sideline reporter Ali Laforce reported Henry appeared to be cramping or dehydrated and was getting his back massaged.
