Best College GameDay Signs: Week 7 from Michigan-Michigan State

The best College GameDay signs from the campus of the Michigan Wolverines who host the Michigan State Spartans.

Michigan and Michigan State is always a big game for the two rivals but few would have anticipated this year’s game between the two Big Ten foes being a game with championship implications for both teams.

But here we are at Week 7 and the Spartans are undefeated and ranked seventh in the country while the Wolverines are 5-1 and have won via shutout three straight games. Their lone defeat in the season opener to the Utah Utes looks better with every week considering the Utes are undefeated and ranked in the top five.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is the primary reason for the quick turnaround in Ann Arbor, but this will be a significant task to beat Michigan State who has dominated the recent rivalry with wins in six of the last seven games in the series. No one thought Harbaugh wouldn’t have success at his alma mater but just as many thought Harbaugh could turn this roster into a winner this year.

A win over Michigan State signifies a shift at the top of the Big Ten and they can unseat Mark Dantonio’s team as the main challenger to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the conference.
