Magic Johnson trolls Michigan after Michigan State’s epic comeback win
The Michigan Wolverines suffered a last-second loss to the rival Michigan State Spartans and Magic Johnson is letting them have it.
Michigan fans defaced the statue of Magic Johnson earlier this week as the prank wars escalated between big brother and little brother with the undefeated Michigan State Spartans traveling to Ann Arbor to take on Jim Harbaugh’s feisty Michigan Wolverines inside the Big House.
Michigan may have won the prank wars but they didn’t win the actual game as Michigan State somehow defeated the Wolverines on the final play of the game in improbable fashion. Michigan’s punter fumbled the snap with 10 seconds left on the clock and Michigan nursing a 23-21 lead and Michigan State recovered and Jalen Watts-Jackson took it in for the game-winning score and the Spartans first lead of the game.
Magic trolled the heck out of Michigan afterwards on Twitter saying, Michigan beat my statue, but they couldn’t beat the MSU football team! LOL #GoGreen #GoWhite”
This is what you would call a Twitter savage. Magic didn’t hold up and why should he after Michigan fans defaced his statue? And why should he in this great rivalry that is still dominated by the Spartans who have now won seven of the last eight games against their “big brother” so if you can dish it out like Michigan likes to do, they just got a taste of their own medicine.
Don’t imagine there will be many things Michigan fans can say to reply to that tweet that will make them feel feel any less terrible after losing in the way they just did.
