Texas Tech left tackle Le’Raven Clark took matters into his own hands Saturday as the offensive lineman scored a two-point conversion for the Red Raiders.

Who says offensive linemen can’t score two-point conversions? All-Big 12 offensive lineman Le’Raven Clark showed he could do it all Saturday as he got into the act on offense.

The Red Raiders lined up as if they were kicking an extra point, but instead of moving backwards for the point-after kick, the center tossed the ball to Clark, who was in the backfield behind his positional counterparts.

At that point, it was all up to him and he was ready to take on the task, plunging forward into the end zone in what ended up being a close two-pointer  in terms of the spot of the ball. However, the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Clark got the job done in a role that is unfamiliar to him.

Clark, a senior is projected to go in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft according to Chip Patterson of CBSSports.com.

This situational type of play reminds me of the packages the New England Patriots used to run for linebacker Mike Vrabel where he would line up in the goal line formation and appear to act as a blocker, only to be used as a receiving threat. Much like Vrabel, Clark showed he is a multi-dimensional football player and will help the team in any way possible.

This is only a snippet of what has been an exciting weekend of action so far in the college football world. It only leads us to wonder what will happen next and shows us that nothing is off-limits if a touchdown can be scored.
