Halfway through the season, we’ve seen dominance at every position, and it’s time to recognize.

Every team in the Pac-12 has now played six games, and now it’s time to check out the top performers in each position.

The pass heavy conference has a plethora of talented quarterbacks, but there are two that stand out far beyond the rest of the bunch. The Pac-12 isn’t just pass heavy, we’ve seen a lot of young running backs emerge over the last three years and there are some hard-nosed runners.

Two standout, and those two are both primed for Heisman campaigns are their teams make a run for the College Football Playoffs.

The beneficiary of the quarterbacks, are the receivers. There are some receivers who have that natural play making ability, the ones that make it seem like time is slowed down when they’re looking a ball in with their concentration. But all three receivers on this list have great quarterbacks that love to sling it, giving them the numbers they so crave.

An offense can only be as effective as the offensive line, and there are guys all across the country that could have vied for those spots. But of course, we have Lineman U, Stanford, representing well.

On the other side are the defensive linemen, and there are some absolute freaks that can get after the quarterback and cause havoc in the backfield. Behind them are the linebackers, and it’s topped with one of the best in the nation. Utah has such a fast defense, and it shows in their secondary, holding quite a few spots when it comes to defensive backs.

As the old saying goes, special teams wins games. And we have some of the best in the business when it comes to kicking specialists. In the return game, they’re as dangerous as anyone in the conference, and have the ability to take one to the house at any point.
