College Football 2015: Five biggest disappointments of first half

The college football season is halfway over and here are the five biggest disappointments who can’t wait for this miserable year to be over.

If you’re a pessimist, this is the list for you as the biggest disappointments of the first half of the 2015 college football season are in the crosshairs.

The benefit of hindsight is a wonderful thing when you can look back at the preseason predictions that were made and see how ridiculous those bold proclamation now look with six or seven games in the rear-view mirror. Four of the five teams mentioned in this list were preseason picks to win their division and two of them were picked to win their entire conference.

As things look today, none of those teams are in position to win anything and some are just hoping to avoid their struggles lingering into the second half of the season and possibly slinking all the way to the bottom of their divisions.

This list focuses on teams and while I was tempted to put Ohio State on this list, because they’ve ‘disappointed’ in the sense they’re not winning every game 73-0, they’re undefeated and the No. 1 team in the nation. So this is teams who have completely and utterly disappointed to the point their fans are looking forward to basketball season.
