team. 2391. <p>Early in the season Appalachian State found itself in the number 10 spot on this list, and they’ve crawled back to it midseason. Their only loss came from a blowout at Clemson, but besides that the team has been super consistent. The Mountaineers have allowed just over 11 points per game.</p> <p>If you take away the 41 points Clemson scored, then that number is nearly cut in half; all the other five opponents have totaled only 30 points combined against Appalachian State.
