Alabama fans get married at tailgate outside Bryant-Denny (Photo)
Some Alabama fans have found a loophole to the “no fall weddings” thing by bringing the wedding to the game.
If you’re a fan of college football, chances are you’ve heard the complaints about people having fall weddings. People don’t want to go to weddings in the fall because they’re all so selfish and would rather watch a football game than celebrate their friends or family getting married.
Well, one couple found one way to have their wedding in the fall and it won’t stop any of their friends or family from missing their beloved football game.
A couple of Alabama fans decided to have their wedding at the site of the Alabama Crimson Tide game this Saturday as they host the Tennessee Volunteers.
This is the perfect solution.
Their guests won’t be complaining about how they’re missing the big game because they had to go to a wedding. The wedding is at the game, so hopefully the couple didn’t get many regrets when the RSVP’s came back in the mail.
And when the ceremony is over, you’re immediately at the reception, and the reception isn’t in a stuffy banquet hall, it’s tailgating at Bryant-Denny Stadium, so who doesn’t love that?!
Congratulations to the lovely couple who got married surrounded by their friends, family and in the backdrop of one of the more historic college football stadiums in the country.
Now, if only more people had their fall weddings at actual football games, then we wouldn’t have to deal with the constant moaning and groaning about people having to see their friends and family get married and miss Wisconsin vs Illinois or other treasures.
