Predicting the AP Top 25 for Week 9 after undefeated Utah and Florida State lost and No. 1 Ohio State looked unstoppable.

The early wave of games didn’t provide much in the way of drama but the night games did and the new AP top 25 poll is sure to undergo some radical changes after Utah and Florida State fell from the ranks of the unbeaten.

Somehow, the USC Trojans were the favorite against the No. 3 Utes who had a case to be the nation’s No. 1 team but Las Vegas knew something we didn’t as USC knocked off Utah to hand them their first loss of the season and open up the Pac-12 South division race.

Utah’s loss wasn’t the only from a top-10 team as moments earlier the Florida State Seminoles were stunned at the whistle after Georgia Tech blocked a 56-yard field goal try that would have won the game and Yellow Jackets reserve defensive back Lance Austin scooped it up and ran it back 78 yards for the game-winning score.

Those two losses combined with dominant performances from Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan State shake up the projected top 25 for Week 9.

Here’s how I think the AP Top 25 poll should look on Sunday:

1. Ohio State

2. Baylor

3. LSU

4. Clemson

5. TCU

6. Michigan State

7. Alabama

8. Stanford

9. Notre Dame

10. Iowa

11. Utah

12. Oklahoma State

13. Memphis

14. Florida

15. Florida State

16. Oklahoma

17. Houston

18. Michigan

19. Toledo

20. Ole Miss

21. Temple

22. Duke

23. Pitt

24. Mississippi State

25. UCLA

Cal and Texas A&M drop out of the rankings. The Aggies had the worst performance of any ranked team this weekend after losing 24-3 to Ole Miss to suffer a second straight SEC loss after beginning the season with five straight wins. And the Golden Bears were dominated by UCLA and their freshman quarterback Josh Rosen.

USC, BYU and North Carolina are on the cusp of being ranked.

Who do you think should be ranked higher? How about who you think is ranked too high?
