Lee Corso Headgear Pick: James Madison or Richmond? (Video)

The Lee Corso headgear pick from James Madison will easily be one of the more memorable selections the College GameDay host has ever made.

It’s the biggest game in the FCS this week and arguably the biggest game in all of college football this weekend when the James Madison Dukes host the Richmond Spiders with first place in the conference on the line.

College GameDay made the trip to Harrisonburg, Virginia to host their pregame show on the campus of James Madison where the Dukes are undefeated and boast one of the more potent offenses in the FCS.

Georgia Tech transfer quarterback Vad Lee has found a home at James Madison and is the front-runner for the Walter Payton Award, the FCS equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, and ranks among the leaders in yards, touchdowns, rating, rushing touchdowns.

He’s led the Dukes to 50-plus point outings four times already this season, but he’ll face the toughest test to date in the form of Richmond who have one of the best defenses in the FCS.

So this really will be a strength on strength in this game that has FCS playoff implications.

It would be easy to pick the home team considering how well Lee has played and because the Dukes already have a win over a FBS opponents this year when they beat SMU. However, is that what Lee Corso was thinking when he made his headgear pick on College GameDay?

Do you agree with Corso’s pick or are you thinking the upset is in store for today?
