This week’s Pac-12 players of the week sees a true freshman linebacker from USC and a true freshman from UCLA among the top five performances of Week 8.

We had some top performers this week in the Pac-12, who fueled their team to victory. We saw two true freshmen step up in big time performances and must win situations for both programs.

Offense has been the story of the Pac-12 this season, much like last season, and there are four offensive players that left their mark this weekend, two of which from the same team.

This is a very competitive conference, and we’re shaping up to see some hard-fought battles towards the end of the season.

Washington State has one of the best offenses in the nation, and this week they brought out two top performers from this weekend.

They took advantage of a porous defense in Arizona, and brought home their third straight win of the season, making them a real threat in the Pac-12.

The Utah loss to USC opened up some doors for the South, meanwhile it’s Christian McCaffrey leading the runaway Stanford Cardinal who look like they’re destined for the Pac-12 North title.

McCaffrey can do it all, and for the second week in a row, had 300 total yards, making him the most versatile player in all of college football.

Let’s take a look at the five best performances from the Pac-12 from Week 8.
