As we near Halloween, it’s a great time to recognize the players in the Big Ten who scare opposing players and fans the most.
Halloween is almost here and that means we are in the second half of the season and getting into the heart of the Big Ten schedule. We’ll see who emerges from the West and East divisions of the conference but we have a big enough sample size to give us an idea of who is bad, who is pretty good and who is just plain scary.
This list will get help you get in the Halloween spirit with a college football twist as the biggest, baddest, most dangerous and frightening players to go up against are put in the spotlight.
When you’re playing or coaching against the players on the list, you might not be able to sleep at night when you prepare to face them. Having to face these guys is like living in a horror movie, and you’re sure to have nightmares during game week knowing you have to deal with them. If you were supposed to line up against a player on this list, you’d be best served coming down with a phantom injury in practice to avoid embarrassment. Be thankful these players are somebody else’s nightmare, and not yours.
Now that the quarterback picture is settled in Columbus, the defending national champions and current No. 1 team in the nation, the Ohio State Buckeyes have more than one player mentioned and some players you may not expect find their way on this list.
