Five teams who should be on upset alert as the college football schedule heads into Week 9. including a pair of teams from the Pac-12 in danger of losing.

It’s fun picking winners in college football, but it’s even more fun picking the favorites you think are going to lose. Everyone loves the upset and in college football the term ‘upset alert’ is synonymous with fun, excitement and drama, unless of course it’s your team in danger of losing to the underdog.

This week’s teams on upset alert feature a pair of teams from the Pac-12, as the race for the South Division champ is a much more intriguing one week after USC beat Utah last week.

But another wrench could be thrown in the South and North race this weekend.

Also featured this week is one team from the Big 12, SEC and the ACC, where the conference was home to the most stunning loss of last week when Georgia Tech beat previously undefeated Florida State by returning a blocked field goal as time expired.

After reading through the list of teams on upset alert, please offer up your upset special for the week and why you think they’ll fall victim to the underdog this weekend.
