As Halloween approaches, we take a look at the most menacing players in college football. Take a look at the five scariest players in 2015.

This year we get the real treat of having college football and Halloween fall on the same day. This means you can alternate between taking your children trick-or-treating and watching football. Perhaps, you still dress up and collect candy (no judgment) that still applies to you as well. Who has it better than us on Saturday?

In celebration of this great turn of events, we have put together a list that you will enjoy. We have outlined five of the scariest players in college football. What does the term “scary” mean? Glad you asked.

In this case, we are looking for the players that provide the opposing team with nightmares the night before the game. They are players that are freakishly talented and inflict their will on the opposing team. They are the guys you are thankful the game is over so your team does not have to play them anymore.

We typically think of scary players residing on the defensive line. This season, we have seen that the scariest position in football might be at running back. There are a number of quality backs in conferences like the SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and beyond. You just might find a few of those players on our list.

Don’t worry, we made sure not to neglect the defense.

Think we got it wrong?

Tell us who your five scariest players are in the comments section below or tweet us your list. We might even send you a candy apple in the mail…Okay, maybe not, but we would like to hear who your five players are.
