2399. <p>Temple appeared ready to make a miracle comeback on a few instances in the final minutes, but a Notre Dame defensive player made a fantastic play to intercept P.J. Walker’s pass, and on the final play of the game Notre Dame’s quarterback Deshone Kizer fumbled the ball but picked it right up and threw it away, ending the game. Regardless of the outcome, Temple proved it is pretty potent.</p> <p>The Owls are still undefeated in conference and have a shot to do some big things. While the loss ends Temple’s undefeated season, they can still finish with the best ever record in Temple football’s history clinch a top 25 finish, and are still in contention for a New Years Six.</p> <p>Up next for the Owls is a road trip to the face the SMU Mustangs.</p>.
