The calendar has flipped to November and the initial College Football Playoff rankings are out and the pressure and stakes for each game moving forward is intensified.

There are fewer opportunities to make up for a loss at this point of the season so teams are pretty much in a must-win situation for the rest of the season if they hope to win their conference’s championship and compete for a berth in the College Football Playoff.

After a less-than-stellar college football schedule the last two weeks that didn’t feature many ranked opponents playing each other, Week 10 offers three juicy games with No. 2 LSU traveling to No. 4 Alabama, No. 1 Clemson hosting No. 16 Florida State and No. 8 TCU visiting No. 12 Oklahoma State.

So regardless of who wins these games there will be a significant shakeup in next week’s rankings from the playoff committee, but those aren’t the only games that can shake up next week’s rankings as there a handful of teams who should be put on upset alert, including two of the aforementioned teams playing in the marquee games of the week.

Without any further delay, here are the five teams who are on upset alert in Week 10.
