Florida State has a shot to prove they’re in this with a win at No. 1 ranked Clemson.

They’re a blocked field goal away from being undefeated, but they’re still in good position for the rest of their season. A loss vs Clemson, and it sends their College Football Playoff hopes back to Tallahassee for 2017.

After Clemson, they draw NC State and Chattanooga, two teams that shouldn’t give them any problems. But then have to head to The Swamp, the first ranked matchup between these two since 2012. Florida obliterated Ole Miss at home, and with potential CFP implications for both programs, that could be the biggest game to ever be played in The Swamp.

Florida State definitely has a tough road ahead, but for being ranked outside the top 15, they have a great shot to boost their resume and make a statement. With an experienced, and improved quarterback such as Everett Golson, Heisman candidate Dalvin Cook, and a playmaker like Jalen Ramsey, this team has the power to go far.
