Indiana Hoosiers

All-Time Program Record: 459–631–45

I almost didn’t include Indiana on this list, as they have shown a lot of improvement over the past few years, but there are simply too many great programs in the Big Ten, and the Hoosiers will never have the recruiting power to compete on a regular basis with them.

The Hoosiers have struggled on the football field for a long time, and an occasional competitive team is the best they seem to be able to muster. Only two conference titles and a 3-6 postseason bowl record doesn’t point to a program that will ever be a player on the national stage.

There could be some future success for the Hoosiers, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them compete for a Big Ten title at some point, but there won’t be enough to carry them into a playoff game or a national title.
