Through 10 weeks, the Pac-12 is starting to figure things out and it’s reflected in this week’s Pac-12 Power Rankings.

When you look top to bottom at this conference, this might be as deep as any. You have Arizona State, who has a ton of potential, but has been a victim of a tough schedule and poor coaching, sitting in the bottom half. The same could be said about Arizona, with their lack of bye weeks and copious injuries.
Then you look through and see that California is dropping quite a bit, but their schedule has also been brutal, and there’s been some rumblings that head coach Sonny Dykes has checked out.
Oregon is also a team creeping into the top half of the rankings, and they’re not as bad as we once all thought. And then you have the traditional powers of the conference with USC, Stanford and UCLA all headlining the top, as well as the Utah Utes.
But Washington State is quietly the third best team in the conference. You could make the case for USC, but they’ve been far too inconsistent, especially after their close win vs Arizona this past weekend.
Not much has changed from Oregon State or Colorado, and they’re just getting drowned out in the final two spots.
There’s still three more weeks of Pac-12 play, and not all is over, for the most part. It seems as if Stanford will run the North, with Oregon and Washington State battling it out for the final spot.
Meanwhile in the South, Utah is one loss away from losing the top spot to USC, and UCLA is still in the mix, but will need some crazy things to happen in the following weeks.
