Oregon State got shut out at home by a banged up UCLA defense. This is just the way things are going for Oregon State, as they sit on a 2-7 record on the season.

This is just a young team that needs time to get reps, learn, and develop. They have to be careful in the Pac-12 North, however, as Washington State could be a program on the rise, and California might be able to sustain their success even after Jared Goff leaves. Washington has remained consistent throughout the years as well. Oregon will always be Oregon, and likewise with Stanford.

So if they can’t turn things around quickly and prepare for next season and get the ball rolling, Oregon State might not be in a good position when it comes to the next few years.
