It’s Senior Day this weekend for Notre Dame as they prepare for Wake Forest but star wide receiver Will Fuller won’t be saying any goodbyes this weekend as he plans to return to school next year for his senior and turn down the NFL Draft.

Fuller is projected to be a late first or early second round pick should he come out this season and he’s shown to be one of the better speed threats in the nation this year with 44 catches for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He had a problem with some unfortunate drops earlier in his career, but he’s shored up that area a great deal this season and is among the best players at the position this year.

This is all well and good to say in early November while you’re in the thick of the College Football Playoff race and have a game to get ready for this weekend and Stanford looming on the schedule.

But I’m not so sure Fuller will have a change of heart and reconsider his stance and think about entering the 2016 NFL Draft after all.

Of course, he’s not going to say he’s leaving now with so much on the line for the No. 4 team in the country. That would be awful timing and could suggest he’s not entirely focused on finishing this season strong with his teammates and is instead focused on getting into the first round.

With a few more impressive performances down the stretch, Fuller could find his draft stock boosted even further than it stands now and it could be awfully difficult to say no to that much guaranteed money.
