Army football takes field with American and French flag (Video)

The Army football team took the field for their game against Tulane with the American flag and the French flag in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris yesterday.

In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on Paris on Friday, the rest of the world has shown their solidarity with the people of France, that includes the Army Black Knights football team.

Army took the field with an American and French flag today for their game against Tulane in a show of support for the country as they begin to take stock of what happened, how to catch the terrorists who pulled off the terrorist actions and how to make sure something like this never happens ever again.

Gus Kattengell shared the video of the Black Knights storming out onto the field in West Point, NY with the American and French flags in tow and it was a touching and classy gesture.

It was also a very sobering moment to realize just how insignificant football really is. But thankfully it is there for us to serve as a distraction or some sort of emotional outlet for people to take their minds off the horrors and atrocities going on around the world.
