Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones honored those lost and affected by Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris.

College football teams and players across the country paid tribute to the lives lost and the lives forever damaged stemming from the Paris attacks on Friday.

Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones has experienced an up and down season for the Buckeyes this year going from starting quarterback to backup to starter to backup again.

However, Jones had his mind in the right place in advance of Ohio State taking on the Illinois Fighting Illini and paid tribute to those in France with a very simple, yet very poignant Eiffel Tower inside a peace sign on both of his cleats.

Jones shared the image of his cleats on Saturday morning to his twitter account.

Upon hearing of the Paris attacks on Friday, Jones tweeted this message sending his thoughts and prayers out to the families who lost loved ones in the terrorist attack.

"This is unbelievable. Prayers out to the city of Paris & all the families who lost loved ones today."

Earlier on Saturday at College GameDay where ESPN’s pregame show was set up at Baylor, the show always shares the best 15-20 signs in attendance but today only showed one, an Eiffel Tower inside a peace sign just like the one depicted on Jones’ cleats, albeit in the colors of the French flag.
