Final Four: Clemson, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame
Conferences Left Out: Pac-12, SEC, Group of Five

This is the first scenario in which the SEC would be shut out of the playoffs, and it would take Florida Beating Alabama in the SEC title game, along with Iowa, Oklahoma State, Clemson and Notre Dame all winning out the remainder of the season.

Florida would have a difficult job getting themselves pushed above any of the three undefeated teams given a loss to LSU, who has suddenly forgotten how to win. Non-conference games against New Mexico State, East Carolina, and FAU on their schedule would pale in comparison to Notre Dame’s.

The Pac-12 can’t get past all the two-loss teams in their conference, and Houston winning out makes it impossible for anyone else to climb above Oklahoma State or Iowa.
