Temple Owls. 8. team. 2399.
Temple dropped its second game, but there’s plenty left to fight for. The Owls are still ahead in their division and are in competition for ten wins and a spot in the top 25 rankings. A big game against Memphis this week is almost a must win for the Owls to win their division.

South Florida ran to a 31-10 lead by half time. The Owls got some momentum to start the third quarter and had a chance to win. The 556 yards compared to Owl’s 380 were the difference. Each team had one turnover, 22 first downs and pretty good special teams play.

P.J. Walker completed well under 50 percent of his passes and had an interception, but otherwise threw for 259 yards and a touchdown for Temple.

For the Bulls, Quinton Flowers had a solid game at quarterback and Marlon Mack ran for two touchdowns and 230 yards, averaging 11 per carry. Receiver Rodney Adams caught seven passes for 147 yards and his seventh touchdown of the season.
. (L 44-23 USF). Previous:
