Alabama is No. 1 in our SEC Power Rankings once again following a big win over Mississippi State, but with a 31-14 victory over LSU, Arkansas is on the rise this week.

Ranked No. 2 in the most recent edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, Alabama is the SEC’s best shot at a national champion. Those odds increased Saturday when the 9-1 Crimson Tide blasted No. 17 Mississippi State 31-6 in Starkville.
Not surprisingly, the victory over the Bulldogs only strengthened Alabama’s position as No. 1 in the Saturday Blitz SEC Power Rankings heading into Week 12.
Similarly, SEC East champ Florida, also 9-1 following a 24-14 win over South Carolina, is a firm No. 2. The Gators haven’t been nearly as impressive this season as Alabama, as shown by their No. 11 ranking from the playoff committee last week.
However, if Florida continues to win and upsets the Crimson Tide in Atlanta in the SEC Championship Game (assuming Alabama does its part to win the West), the Gators would also have a case for a spot in the final four.

But who should be No. 3? LSU was ranked second in the nation two weeks ago, but the red-hot Arkansas Razorbacks gave the Tigers their second straight loss in dominant fashion, 31-14 Saturday night in Baton Rouge. With four straight victories, the Hogs are shooting up the standings.
Of course, you can’t forget about Ole Miss. The Rebels are the only team to beat Alabama this season. Then again, the Razorbacks beat them two weeks ago.
There are just two more weeks until the end of the regular season, and as we look ahead to Week 12, we rank each Southeastern Conference squad from worst to first.
