No. 10 Baylor Bears at No. 6 Oklahoma State Cowboys- Sat, 7:30 PM ET
Point Spread: Pick ’em
The game is a pick ’em but for all intents and [betting] purposes, Oklahoma State is the underdog as the home team considering that’s worth three points.
Mike Gundy has his team up to No. 6 in the latest rankings after sweating out a win against Iowa State, and provided they win out will be in the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Art Briles’ Baylor team is coming off their first loss of the season at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners and are dealing with an injury to quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
The freshman quarterback is expected to play, but he could be limited in running, which is what makes him an extra special talent. If Stidham is limited at all, that doesn’t bode well for Baylor whose offensive efficiency and production has waned since the season-ending injury to Seth Russell.
Oklahoma has two capable quarterback in Mason Rudolph and J.W. Walsh who complement each other so well and Gundy has managed that well. But the difference in this game is the Pokes ability to play defense and get to the quarterback, something Baylor doesn’t and can’t do.
