The Big Game. Stanford is coming off a big loss to Oregon at home, and will look to rebound in this rivalry game. Meanwhile, Cal finally caught their bearings and got a win after a four-game skid. This game will be close somehow because it’s a rivalry game , but it shouldn’t be because Stanford is just far superior.

And the way California’s schedule has played out, it’s really shown that the Golden Bears aren’t exactly the great threat we once thought when they were 5-0 and almost took down Utah, who was ranked in the top five, but once they hit the brunt of their schedule, they got exposed just a bit.

Stanford will have a lot to prove after their loss, and I’d love to know David Shaw’s record coming off a loss. The Cardinal will win this game, and of course score 30-plus points while doing so, but it will be a tad closer than most would expect.
