1. The College Football Playoff
It took us long enough to get it, but we finally did and it turned out to be better than we could have ever hoped.
Okay, the College Football Playoff still has a few warts and some tweaking to be done, but it’s a far cry better than what we were being given by the BCS and it’s predecessors. It’s only four teams now, but rest assured the playoff field will eventually expand.
This is the best way yet of selecting the best teams in the nation to participate in a bracketed tournament that will eventually crown a true champion. This is what nature intended – not computers, algorithms and impossible to explain point-awarding systems.

The feeling of “it’s over this season” if you lose a game early on is no longer a worry, and the strength of your schedule (not style points) is finally an important part of who get the chance to play. As college football fans, this is the one thing we should be most thankful for.
