It’s Rivalry Week in the SEC, and the Egg Bowl and Iron Bowl are at the center as three of the top four teams in our SEC Power Rankings square off.

We endured Cupcake Week in the SEC (well, South Carolina didn’t and Florida and Georgia barely survived it) but now it’s Rivalry Week, and the Egg Bowl and the Iron Bowl both have championship implications on the last Saturday of the regular season.

Alabama, the No. 2 team in the nation according to the College Football Playoff committee, has been ranked No. 1 on our list since the Crimson Tide dominated LSU 30-16 Nov. 7. Nothing has changed for Alabama, who beat Charleston Southern 56-6 for its eighth consecutive victory.

Auburn, however, has been stuck in double-digits most of the season thanks to inconsistencies on both offense and defense that have kept the Tigers from reaching their lofty potential.

A victory for the Tide over their archival means yet another trip to the SEC Championship Game and a date with Eastern Division champion Florida. An upset victory for the Tigers would open the door for Ole Miss.

Thanks to their 43-37 victory in Tuscaloosa Sept. 19, the 8-3 Rebels are still alive in the SEC West. With a victory over 8-3 Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl coupled with an Auburn victory over Alabama, Ole Miss would make it to Atlanta for the first time in school history. Of course, the Bulldogs would love nothing more than to spoil those chances.

With Alabama sitting atop the league and Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi State jockeying for position behind the Crimson Tide, let’s take a look at the final Saturday Blitz SEC Power Rankings of the 2015 college football regular season.
