Season Stats: 1,640 yards, 3,035 all-purpose yards, 11 total TD
Last Game vs. Notre Dame: 27 carries, 94 yards, 228 total yards
Christian McCaffrey and the Stanford Cardinal are in the playoff conversation, despite two losses. Their win over Notre Dame lifted them back into the spotlight, and things got interesting.
Not Christian McCaffrey’s best game, which brought down his all-purpose yard average. This season, he led the nation in all-purpose yards, with 252 yards per game. That lead the nation by 52 yards, which was SJSU’s Tyler Irvin with 200 yards. After that, it was Texas Tech’s Jakeem Grant, with 180 total yards per game. That just shows you how much of a workhorse Christian McCaffrey is for the Cardinal.
They get one more game in the Pac-12 Championship Game vs. USC, who they already beat earlier this season. They don’t have the best run defense, and this could allow McCaffrey to make a big time move in the Heisman polls.
