Season Stats: 271 carries, 1741 yards, 18 touchdowns

Last Game vs. Texas A&M: 32 carries, 159 yards, 1 touchdown

Leonard Fournette powered the offense over Texas A&M, giving Les Miles an emotional home win to close out the season. About six weeks ago, it seemed as if Leonard Fournette was untouchable, and it was his trophy, everyone was just going through the formalities. But after their loss to Alabama, things started to go downhill for LSU, losing three straight.

He was held under 100 yards for two consecutive weeks, but now seems to be back on track. Fournette still put up ridiculous numbers this season, accumulating over 1,700 yards, but the LSU Tigers were held out of the SEC Championship Game, so he’s done all that he can do to this point.

Their canceled game vs. McNeese State might have held Fournette back, as the Tigers have only played 11 games this season. A game vs McNeese State and Fournette likely would have eclipsed 2,000 yards on the season.
