Baylor receiver and Biletnikoff winner Corey Coleman and TCU’s Josh Doctson are the biggest names outside Mayfield who was a Heisman candidate in his first year as the Oklahoma starting quarterback since transferring from Texas Tech. Mayfield’s former teammate with the Red Raiders, Jakeem Grant was one of the more electrifying and versatile players in the league and was the all-purpose selection.
You can see the first-team offense and defense below, but you won’t see one player from the Texas Longhorns on the first-team, which is another reminder of how bad things have gotten in Austin for head coach Charlie Strong.
