No. 4 Oklahoma vs. No. 1 Clemson

Talk about firepower at the quarterback position, here you have it. Heisman finalist Deshuan Watson against coulda-been Heisman finalist Baker Mayfield. Let the drama begin.
Clemson is undefeated, and with that comes a heavier burden in each game. Not only are the Tigers 13-0 this season, but they are 16-0 going back to the end of 2014…which included a 40-6 drubbing of Oklahoma in last year’s Russell Athletic Bowl. Clemson is no doubt the most complete team in the nation, but long streaks can trump talent.
Oklahoma has quietly built a nice resume, excluding their embarrassing loss to Texas in the Red River Showdown. While many want to give the Sooners a lot of credit, I’m one of the doubters who looks at OU as very lucky (which you have to be to win a title sometimes).
Line: Oklahoma, -4
13-0 and poor Clemson still gets no respect. The Tigers won’t dominate the Sooners like last season, but it will still be a win. However, it may take a last second field goal to do it. Tigers beat the spread.
