Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl: Florida State vs Houston TV info, live stream, odds and prediction
The Florida State Seminoles take on the Houston Cougars in the Peach Bowl. Here’s what to watch for in the battle between the AAC champion and the perennial ACC power.
Florida State (10-2) hopes to go into the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl free of any distractions, such as making any plans to enjoy some delicious chicken after the game. The Seminoles will face the Houston Cougars (12-1), who won the American Athletic Conference.

Houston’s only loss of the season came at Connecticut when they temporarily had to make due without a few hurt players, including quarterback Greg Ward Jr. He won’t astonish many with his passing stats with 16 touchdowns and 2590 yards in 2015, but he has good decision-making abilities and runs the offense efficiently. Ward is also the top rusher for the Cougars, with over 1000 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He won’t astonish many with his passing stats with 16 touchdowns and 2,590 yards, but he is a dynamic dual-threat who leads the team in rushing with over 1,047 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Florida State was upset by Georgia Tech by a blocked field goal return to end the game and then the Seminoles dropped their game with No. 1 Clemson. Everett Golson and Sean Maguire traded off leading the offense, but this game will be Maguire’s chance to play with Golson not at the game for personal reasons.
Florida State’s rushing attack has been stellar this season with sophomore Dalvin Cook, who averaged 7.9 yards per carry and scored 18 touchdowns on the ground.

Prediction
Each team seems equipped with some nice offensive firepower, but I think the difference maker will be Florida State’s defense. FSU’s defense is 16th in the nation in yards allowed while Houston is 53rd. Houston’s defense has definitely hit some bright spots–such as shutting out Vanderbilt–but Ward and his offense will need to be able to adjust to whatever the Seminoles throw at them.

The game is a pretty big deal, but both could see even bigger things next year. Focus will be key for each team, and I think Florida State has just enough to get things done in Atlanta.
