Watch Derrick Henry score on a 50-yard touchdown to give the Alabama Crimson Tide an early lead over the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

The Heisman winner produced the first score of the game when he scored on a 50-yard touchdown run off right tackle with a great seal block from tight end O.J. Howard.

Both Clemson and Alabama traded punts to begin the game, but Henry broke things open in a big way when he extended his SEC record with his 26th touchdown of the year. The touchdown was also his 20th game in a row with a rushing touchdown.

He already has 71 yards, which is just four short he had the entire Cotton Bowl against Michigan State, and the game is only halfway through the first quarter so he could be in line for another 200-yard game as he looks to finish his Alabama career (before declaring for the NFL Draft as expected) with a monster of a performance to cement his status as perhaps the greatest running back in Alabama football history.
Do you think Henry will be enough to lead Alabama to their 16th national championship or is there plenty of time left for Deshaun Watson and Clemson to make a game of it still?
After all, it still is only halfway through the first quarter.
