It’s finally here. The College Football Playoff National Championship Game is tonight between Nick Saban’s Alabama team against the No. 1 Clemson team led by former Alabama receiver Dabo Swinney who won a national championship under Gene Stallings with the Tide.

The game features the Heisman winner, Derrick Henry who will try to close out his career with a national championship and add to his 2,000 yards rushing this season and add to his SEC records for rushing yards and total touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Clemson quarterback is looking to make a Heisman statement for the 2016 season after finishing as the third-place finisher in 2015. Watson has run for more than 100 yards in five of the last six games and his dual-threat ability could give Alabama fits.

Teams with the most success against Alabama in the Saban era had quarterbacks who could make plays with their arm as well as their feet. From Cardale Jones to Johnny Manziel to Cam Newton to Tim Tebow, if you’re going to bet Alabama’s dominant defense you need a signal-caller who can keep them honest and off-balance.
