Oklahoma Sooners

Under Bob Stoops, the Oklahoma football program has seen a lot of success…but in the eyes of some, they’ve also seen a lot of overrating. The winning percentage is there, as are some conference and national titles.

The Sooners are another long-standing winning tradition in college football, and when they aren’t winning it almost seems like the planets are out of alignment. Stoops is known as a top recruiter, and he’s survived some ups and downs in Norman.

2015’s Big 12 championship and trip to the playoffs were a step back in the right direction, but it’s still not clear whether this was a fluke or if the Sooners are truly back to their normal winning ways. Is it all smoke and mirrors, or does Stoops have another run or two left in him?
