Who did Jimbo Fisher add to the Florida State football recruiting class on National Signing Day and who did the Seminoles get in their 2016 recruiting class?

Florida State may have come up a little short in their pursuit of an ACC title in 2015, but they’re once again stocking up on the immense amount of talent in their home state. Jimbo Fisher has once again brought in a diversely talented squad that is a consensus top-three class, including what could be another strong group in the secondary.

But their most notable signing may be that quarterback Malik Henry, one of the top five dual-threat QB’s in the 2016 class, and a top-10 state of Florida recruit.

After the Seminoles had a difficult time picking a starting quarterback last year, it’ll have confidence knowing there shouldn’t be any controversy once this early enrollee takes the reins of the offense. That could be sooner than later depending on how much redshirt freshman Deondre Francois and senior-to-be Sean Maguire improve.

Henry should have a lot of protection with top center Baveon Johnson in the fold and high four-star offensive tackle Landon Dickerson who announced his decision on National Signing Day.

The Seminoles will have a bevy of blue-chip defenders coming in for 2016 also, primarily in the secondary with five-star corner Levonta Taylor, the highest-rated player in the Florida State 2016 recruiting class.

Though FSU’s secondary is always loaded, star CB Jalen Ramsey is skipping his senior season for the draft, and Lamarcus Brutus is also graduating, which created a bit of a void on the third level.

Will the Florida State recruiting class give Fisher and the Noles the boost they need to knock off Deshaun Watson and the Clemson Tigers in the ACC next season?
