Michigan State Spartans

2015 Finish: 12-2, Big Ten Champion
Key 2016 Losses: C Allen Jack, WR Aaron Burbridge, DE Shilique Calhoun, OG Donavon Clark, OT Jack Conklin, QB Connor Cook, OLD Darien Harris, DT Joel Heath, DT Lawrence Thomas

2016 may turn out to be quite a tough year for the Spartans. This is a team who makes their bones in the trenches, and they are losing several impact players on both sides of the line.

Mark Dantonio is a no-nonsense coach, and will have this team ready to play, but the loss of so many hogs coupled with having to replace quarterback Connor Cook will be enough to set Sparty back a few losses this season.

Once the offensive line has had some time together, and Dantonio has a quarterback with more than mop-up duty under his belt, Michigan State will look like themselves again. By 2017, they’ll be right back in the thick of it.
