Parting thoughts on the NFL Combine that wrapped up from Indianapolis on Monday with some NFL Draft prospects helping their cause while others will have to wait for their Pro Day to boost their stock.

The NFL Draft prospects flocked to Indianapolis to get measured, weighed, timed, worked out and interviewed to see where they stack up among the best college football players in the nation for April’s NFL Draft.

Several of the high-profile prospects like Ohio State’s Joey Bosa, Alabama’s Derrick Henry, North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz and Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey went through all the drills to show NFL teams they were ready to put in work and show what they can do for teams.

Conversely, there were some players who elected to hold themselves out of some drills like Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell and Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry who didn’t run despite the belief that they’re the top players at their respective positions.

The NFL Combine won’t tell the entire story for these draft prospects but it is part of the puzzle that NFL teams will have to put together before assembling their draft board and making their sections when it gets underway in April.

There were winners like Ramsey and Ohio State’s Darron Lee and Ezekiel Elliott and there were losers who will have to rehab their draft stock at their pro day in March and April to show the NFL their Combine performance was not the best reflection of their ability.

Without any further ado, here are parting thoughts on the winners, losers and standouts from each position grouping at the recently completed NFL Combine.
