Watch Rich Eisen run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
After the running backs, quarterbacks, linemen, receivers, linebackers and defensive backs all had their moment to run their 40’s at the NFL Combine and perform in their on-field drills, the spotlight turned to NFL Network host Rich Eisen.
It’s become an annual tradition for the host of the Combine and the face of the NFL Network to run a 40 in his suit to serve as the unofficial end to the Combine. In recent years, Eisen made his run a charitable event to help raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee.

Their goal is to make sure no family has to pay a medical bill for their child and with the help of Eisen and the countless people who have donated money to the cause through his Run Rich Run page on NFL.com, so many families were helped and had their burden lessened because of this great cause.
Eisen also didn’t disappoint when it came to running the 40.
You can watch Eisen turn in his personal-best time of 5.94 seconds in the video below.
As you can see from the video, Eisen has some good burst and his 10-yard time is proof he has a good get-off.
He stayed low out of the gate and gradually got upright and was unfazed in his suit as he didn’t let it get him off his game. The composure he showed should see him move up team’s draft boards come April.
Okay, in all seriousness, give it up for Rich Eisen for spearheading this noble cause and raising money for St. Jude’s.
