Now that the NFL Combine is over, it’s time to have another mock draft to see how the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft could play out in April.

The NFL Combine saw some performers solidify their status in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft like Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott and linebacker Darron lee and Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey, among others who put on a show during their Combine workouts.

For others, like Noah Spence, Laquon Treadwell and Jaylon Smith, their showing at the Combine left some questions left unanswered for NFL teams, whether it be their off-field character, top-end speed or health.

The Combine is one part of the puzzle for NFL teams to evaluate players and it merits caution that you don’t want to put too much stock into it, but it’s still important and that’s why you’ll see some shuffling in this mock draft, compared to my first mock draft published at the end of the college football season.

Without further ado, here is the first round NFL Mock draft. After reading through the picks, let us know in the comments section your thoughts on how the first 31 picks will play out and who you think should be picked higher or is mocked to be picked too early.

The first round of the 2016 NFL Draft is only 31 picks after the New England Patriots had to forfeit their first round pick as part of the penalties stemming from the Deflategate ruling from the NFL.
