The New York Jets make some sense for Ezekiel Elliott here, but I think they go with one of his Ohio State teammates with either cornerback Eli Apple or linebacker Darron Lee to upgrade the defense for Todd Bowles.

The best fit for the Jets and the biggest need is at cornerback after cutting Antonio Cromartie earlier in the offseason and Dee Milliner not playing like a former top-10 pick. Apple ran better than expected at the Combine and has two great years of tape at Ohio State to merit this pick and team with Darrelle Revis in the Jets secondary.
