Taking a defensive tackle fills a big need for the Washington Redskins who get good value with Jarran Reed falling in their laps at No. 21.

He was overshadowed at times during his career at Alabama by teammates like A’Shawn Robinson and Reggie Ragland, among others, but don’t sleep on this dominant interior defender because he’s a quality run stuffer the team lacks.

He’s not going to be a big threat in the pass game, so he could be best as a two-down player, but if they can keep him fresh, he’ll be one of the best against the run at the position.
