Ezekiel Elliott. 22. player. 10. . RB. Ohio State

I think Ezekiel Elliott is one of the top 5-10 all-around football players in the entire draft, but if the Giants at No. 10 and Raiders at No. 14 pass on the Ohio State back, he’s going to slide into the 20’s unless a team trades up for him.

The Houston Texans would love a quarterback here, but there’s not one worth taking here so they get a value in Elliott which allows the team to move on from the Arian Foster era.

With the Texans still having quarterback issues, taking Elliott lessens the burden on whoever is under center for the team because he can draw an eighth defender in the box and give whoever is under center for the Texans  man-on-man opportunities to exploit.
